Getting Started

How do I start a course?

Getting started is easy! Just browse through our courses and choose the ones you like from our list of courses here. During the payment process, you will be prompted to create a personal student account. If you already have an account, log in and select courses from the list.

When will my course start?

You can start the course immediately after your successful payment. You will have lifelong access to your course. That means that you can also start the course later, take a break whenever you want and even take the entire course again in the future.

How long does the course take? 

We have packed everything important into powerful short courses. Each course lasts 1.5 to 3 hours. All our courses are 100% online and come in the form of texts (including many pictures, graphs and diagrams). You can find the duration of each course in the list of courses here. You will have lifelong access to your course. That means that you can also start the course later, take a break whenever you want and even take the entire course again in the future.

What are the initial requirements?

Our courses are designed for students and non-students. Therefore you don't need any prior knowledge of management concepts or any academic evidence. All you need is a web browser and some motivation! 

Courses and program certificates

How can I get a course certificate?

If you want to get your personal course certificate, you have to complete an online course and quiz. All our quiz questions are multi-choice. Don't worry – you can take the quiz again several times for free. There is also no time limit for completing a course or quiz. You will receive the certificate as a digital file (pdf). We don't send printed copies.

What is the value of my certificate?

The Oxford Business and Management Institute keeps its distance learning programs to the same high standards as traditional educational institutions. Our certificates are therefore recognized and accepted by employers around the world. Please note that we don't award academic degrees. However, most organizations recognize our certificates as valid professional certificates. You can find more information about adding our certificates to your LinkedIn profile here.

Where can I find my certificates? 

To find and download all your certificates, log in, select “My Account” and click on “My Certificates”. 
The European Commission's Action Plan for Digital Education strengthens digital certificates. Our institute supports the idea of ​​replacing paper documents with more modern alternatives. Therefore, you will receive all your certificates as digital files (.pdf) so that you can easily store and share your qualifications. We don't send printed copies. If you need a printed copy of your certificate, we recommend printing it on a high-quality photo printer. Both documents – the digital certificate and your personal copy – are valid.
Employers and educational institutions can always verify your certificates by using the ID code on each certificate.

What is a program certificate?

If you complete 4 to 6 courses in a particular field (e.g. Mini-MBA, project management, etc.), you will receive a program certificate without additional charge. You can find these programs in our list of courses here.

Costs and payments

What is the price of a course?

With our current discounts, the price of our online courses varies between $21,90 and $29,90. These costs include the course content and your personal certificate. There are no additional costs. All prices can be found here.

How can I pay?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and major debit cards. Unfortunately, we don't accept manual bank transfers. If you use a third-party credit card (such as a family member or close friend), make sure that the person has approved your payment.

When do I have to pay?

All our courses must be paid for in advance. You can start studying immediately after a successful payment.

Why did my payments fail? 

Payment may fail for various reasons. Here are some sources of errors and solutions:
- Check for errors in your credit card information.
- Make sure there is enough money in your bank account.
- Use a different credit card.

Problem with the order or account

I can't start the course I bought

Please do the following:
- Log in here and check if the course is to be found in the “My courses” section. If it cannot be found there, make sure you haven't used a different email address during the payment process.
- Check your inbox for the order confirmation email. If you didn't receive such an email, make sure you haven't used a different email address during the payment process.
- Ask your bank if the money has been deducted from your bank account.
- If your order was successful and you don't have access to the course, please send an email to info@oxfordbizinstitute.com with your name and order ID.

I made a mistake in my order

If you accidentally bought the course twice or if you bought the wrong course, please send an email to info@oxfordbizinstitute.com and describe your problem. We will gladly help you.
